The Hunter: Best Exotics To Use and Why

For you guardians out there that don’t know which exotics to use for your hunter, don’t fret. Over my experiences of playing Destiny I have come up with a pretty good idea of what exotics should be used for certain situations of playing the game. Of course there will also be a variety of ways you can use certain exotics to suit your play style. Here are some tips and what I use:

Achlyophage Symbiote

• 100% discipline with full raid gear (more discipline, less grenade cool down time).
• The perk "Ashes To Assest" gives super energy from grenade kills.
• The perk "Last Man Standing" gives you another golden gun shot.

Uses:

• Intended for the "gunslinger" spec.
• Great for the crucible because of the extra golden gun shot.
• An easy way to spawn a lot of orbs.
• Fantastic oracle killer in the Vault of Glass.

Mask Of The Third Man

• 84% intellect with full raid gear (more intellect, shorter super cool down)
• The "infusion" perk allows you to be healed when you pick up and orb of light
• "Switchblade" increases your melee attack speed
• "Unstable Current" arc blade attacks cost less super energy

Uses:

• Awesome for a sword bearer in the Crota raid because it can heal you and gives you more attack speed.
• Intended for the arc blade spec.
• The "Unstable Current" perk will you allow you to have more time with arc blade and gives you the opportunity to score more kills in the crucible.

Radiant Dance Machines

• 84% intellect with full raid gear.
• More heavy weapon ammo.
• "The Dance" perk improves your movement speed while aiming your weapon.

Uses:

• I only use these boots for the crucible.
• Fast movement allows you to be very mobile and put pressure on the other team in the crucible.
• Can be used with both arc blade or gunslinger
