This week Destiny added the game type “Inferno clash” to the
crucible. This is one of the many inferno playlist’s to hit Destiny’s crucible and
allows you to reap some nice rewards. But for you guardians who don’t already
know; there will be no radar, only one heavy ammo drop period, and the whole
game is based on teamwork and the kill count. For you who have decided to take
up the challenge and participate, here are some tips from my gameplay
experience.
No
radar? No Problem:
Running around with no radar can be rewarding, but it also
can haunt you. Here are some tips I found out while being killed from behind
multiple times:
- Keep your volume turned up on your T.V. or your headset, this will allow you to hear the footsteps of players trying to sneak up on you.
- Keep your shotgun close to you, you never know what will be around the corner!
- Constantly be aware of the spawns, they could change at any moment so keep moving around and be aware of your surroundings.
Only
one heavy ammo drop the entire game? That’s right:
There will be only one heavy drop for the whole entire game!
But this can be a blessing:
- The heavy ammo drops will be in one of the two normal spots that they spawn in regular crucible game modes.
- Use this to your advantage, camp the heavy spawn for guardians running in to take the prize.
- Be careful when approaching the heavy ammo, there might be a few guardians who beat you to the chase!
- Save your super for the heavy ammo drop, a smart team will try to capitalize on receiving the heavy ammo.
Teamwork?
That doesn’t exist in the crucible:
Now it does, no more running and gunning around. If you aren’t
already playing with friends or in a fireteam, make sure to be in the game chat
for these reasons:
- You want to be able to coordinate where the enemy is at all times.
- When that one heavy ammo drop comes, you want your team to be getting it.
- I sure would wish someone would tell me someone was trying to kill me from behind, wouldn’t you?
- The points are based on kills and only kills, you may think you can carry your team of random’s if feeling you’re lucky…
Use these tips and it’s guaranteed you guardians will be
able to destroy any enemy team that you encounter. Good luck guardians!
