Destiny's Trials of Osiris Tips

At 11 am pst time today, Bungie revealed the new House of Wolves crucible playlist, Trials of Osiris. The amount of awesome that it looked is indescribable. I am especially excited to play this new game mode because it will the most intense game type they have created. But enough blabbering, let’s get down to what we care about. After watching the twitch stream here is what I could muster up as some new tips to help you through the new upcoming event.

New Game type, Elimination:

• 3 Versus 3, bring your best weapons, armor, and friends with you to play. Your attack damage and level will matter in this game mode, just like the Iron Banner.
• For every round won you get 1 point. You need to get 5 points to win the game.
• When the round timer goes down to 2 minutes a pin point location will spawn in the center of the map where you will have to capture this point. If you do it is an automatic win, if the round timer ends and you’re still brawling the other team, whoever is close to the point on the map is the winner.
• Every time a team wins 3 rounds, heavy ammo will spawn the next round.
• If you die, you are dead. The only way you can come back is if your teammate revive you or the round ends.
• This will be a weekly reset event, it will start on Friday’s at 10 am pst and will end on the weekly reset and 2am pst.
• Each week there will be a new map, the map never changes during the event. You will play on the same map for every event.
• Every time the games ends, you will be queued and will play a different team every single time.
• As always, teamwork, teamwork, and more teamwork.

Brother Vance, Disciple of Osiris:

• Brother Vance will give you your score card. Which will track your wins and losses.
• There is a total of 9 slots on the score card. So the most you can win is 9 games.
• 3 loses and your score card is out. You must cash in.
• You can cash in your score card as many times as you want during the event.
• The more wins you have on your score card the better gear you can receive.
• Gear will change every week.
• At 5 wins you can get a piece of gear and at 7 wins you can get weapons.
• Say I won 9 games, I can buy anything from Brother Vance’s inventory.
• You may also buy 3 different trial supplies with passage coins. The 3 different trial supplies allow you to forgive a loss, get a free win, or get a bonus win on your first try.
• You can get passage coins from doing Iron banner and Trials of Osiris events.
